To make booking and collecting a car as simple as possible, here is everything you need to fulfil in order to hire from us — set out plainly, before you commit to anything.

What you need to know.
The minimum rental period is one day. The car should be returned as agreed — the renter will be charged for extra time or lateness.
Drivers must be between 25 and 70 years of age.
Mileage is unlimited on all of our cars. All rates stated in quotations are in euro (€).
Compass Car Hire includes fully comprehensive insurance on all vehicles. A driver over 25 years of age is held responsible for the first €350.00 excess in the case of damages. In the case of theft, the excess is €470.00.
We offer a 24-hour emergency breakdown service in the eventuality of a collision or a breakdown of the car.
A valid driving licence and a valid passport must be presented when renting the car.
A valid credit card such as Visa or MasterCard is necessary in order to hire a car. The credit card is to be used for any supplementary charges, for example traffic fines, as specified at the time of booking.
We regret that the card issuing institutions do not permit us to accept cards such as Switch, Visa Delta or Visa Electron for this purpose.
Any traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the renter's responsibility.
We recommend that you inspect the car's post-rental condition together with our staff, so that you can check the car is returned in the same condition as it left our garages.

How we handle your details.
Details you send us through an enquiry — your name, contact details and travel dates — are used only to answer that enquiry and to arrange your rental. We do not sell or pass them on for marketing.
If you need to send us sensitive information such as credit card details, please telephone the office rather than emailing it.
This site keeps cookies to a minimum. Any that are set exist to make the site work correctly rather than to track you across other websites.
